Working with Shelby is an absolute dream come true. I have admired her art for some time; then, once I met her, I loved it all the more because of the amazing person she is.
Her art embodies the simple joys of the everyday. The things you may not notice, but she sees with an eye that is searching for beauty in everything. Little ducks that are given names and personalities, colorful zinnias, and shadows on a tennis court - just to name a few.
These photos are a compilation of my favorites from two recent shoots: her Duck Collection and Tennis Collection. The Duck Collection also turned into a mini maternity session which I loved. It seemed so fitting with all her little ducklings surrounding her.
